Who we are
Last Night Records is owned and operated by Henry Rater a producer, composer & sound designer based in NYC. He holds degrees in music theory & composition as well as a Master’s degree in music technology from the Berklee School of Music. After graduating he worked at Golden Gun studios in SoHo, gaining high level insight into high level commercial & film sound design and contributing creatively to projects ranging from film festival submissions to advertisements for large corporate brands. Since then, Henry has developed working relationships with major record labels Warner Chappell & Atlantic Records regarding talent development and providing production for their in-house songwriting teams and artists. Our team is committed toward a vision of creating a more equitable platform for emerging artists and cultivating a culture of authentic artistic expression.
